As part of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative and under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, troops of the Security Forces (East), supervised by Major General P. R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) conducted a school cleaning and renovation program on 20 February 2025.

Under the guidance of Major General W.W.M.P.W.W.B.R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division and supervision of Commanders of the 212 and 561 Infantry Brigades, troops conducted a cleaning programme in schools located in Security Forces - Wanni as part of the first phase of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative.

The Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed prefects of Lakpahana International School, Kandana, was held on 14 February 2025 at the school premises. The Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier R.R. de S. Dharmawickrama RSP, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

In line with the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ programme and under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, troops of the 6th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard (6 SLNG) conducted a beach cleaning programme along the Mullivaikkal coastal line on 18 February 2025, with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks.

A special lecture on the "Legal Framework in the Sri Lanka Army" was conducted on 13 February 2025 at the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) as part of the Wednesday training day programme, under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna).

The troops of the 641 Infantry Brigade conducted a school items donation programme for 50 children from low-income families at Narangamuwa Primary School on 13 February 2025.

Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army and the supervision of the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, the 212 Infantry Brigade conducted an eco-conscious initiative in line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” campaign on 17 February 2025.

The 144 Infantry Brigade, under the direction of the Commander of the Army, conducted a large-scale cleaning programme on 15th February 2025, as part of the government's Clean Sri Lanka initiative. The programme targeted key areas such as Polduwa Road, Parliament Road, Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Road, the Thurumithiru Project area, and Diyawanna Lake.

Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, troops of the Security Forces (East) conducted a Beach Cleaning Programme under the theme “Protecting Our Shores, Preserving Marine Life, and Creating a Cleaner, Greener Future!” on 16 February 2025, in line with the Clean Sri Lanka initiative.

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, the troops of the 3rd Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps recently established a water supply project in Parakum Village on 11th February 2025, with the intention of providing purified, safe drinking water to the community. The project was financially supported by Mr. Mangala Pieris.
