Troops of 51 Infantry Division organised a school bag donation programme at Palali North GTM School on 29 May 2025, benefiting 40 schoolchildren from low-income families.
In line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative and under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, a cleaning programme was conducted on 25 May 2025, covering the “Fox Hill” area in Diyatalawa, a location frequently visited by both local and foreign tourists.
The 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, under the 221 Infantry Brigade, organized a blood donation programme on 26 May 2025 at its premises, under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana USAWC psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division.
The 15th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry conducted a medical camp on 27 May 2025 at Agbo Rajamaha Viharaya, Thissapura, Trincomalee, in collaboration with the Regional Health Services Office, Trincomalee. This initiative provided medical care to over 200 civilians.
At the request of the Principal of S.W.R.D Bandaranayaka National School in Kundasale, Major General K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division, graced the prefects’ investiture ceremony as the Chief Guest on 23 May 2025.
Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, the troops of the 542 Infantry Brigade, along with civilians in the area, conducted a cleaning initiative at the irrigation canal connecting the Giant’s Tank at Mathottam as part of the 'Clean Sri Lanka' initiative on 25 May 2025.

The 2nd Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment conducted a Dry Ration and Lunch Packet Donation Programme under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division.

Troops of 12 Infantry Division participated in the blood donation programme, which was organized by the Buddhist Compassion Relief “Tzu Chi” Foundation at Siribopura, Hambantota on 29th April 2025.
