At the request of the Blood Bank of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, a blood donation programme was successfully conducted at the Nursing Training School, Jaffna, under the guidance of Major General K.T.P de Silva RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna).

The troops of the 3rd Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) conducted a school items donation programme and a medical camp for the students and their parents of Namal Wewa Primary School on 04 March 2026 at the school premises in Polonnaruwa.

In line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” Programme, the troops of 54 Infantry Division, in collaboration with the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Office, Nanattan, conducted a Dental Clinic and a Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Clinic on 04 March 2026 at Madukkarai Government Tamil Mixed School, Mannar.

A social welfare programme titled ‘Jana Suwa Yatra’ was conducted at the historic Dimbulagala Aranya Senasanaya on 28 February 2026, in conjunction with the 59th Birth Anniversary of the Incumbent, Most Venerable Dimbulagala Rahulalankara Nayaka Thero, in collaboration with the Colombo Women’s Organization and Supreme Media.

A community welfare programme to distribute dry ration packs among 22 pregnant mothers residing in the Kilinochchi area was successfully conducted under the direction of Major General H.M.G.E. Herath RSP USP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of the 55 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier T.B.M.R. Kandekumbura RSP USP, Commander of the 551 Infantry Brigade.

Nature's Beauty Creations Ltd, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army, organized a welfare programme to provide essential baby care products to 137 expectant mothers in Vavuniya on 13 February 2026 at the auditorium of Gamini Maha Vidyalaya.

Troops of 59 Infantry Division distributed essential maternity items to expectant mothers in Mullaitivu area at the Pandaravaniyan Conference Hall, Mullaitivu GA Office on 14 February 2026.

An eye clinic and health camp under the Supreme Care Jana Suwa Yathra community welfare programme, was conducted on 14 February 2026 at Sri Wardanaramaya temple area under the 61 Infantry Division. The programme was organised by the Supreme Global Holdings (Pvt) Ltd in collaboration with Sri Lanka Army, for citizens above 55 years of age and benefited over 150 elderly participants.

The troops of the 54 Infantry Division, together with the 4th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, conducted an awareness programme and distributed maternity aids to 162 pregnant mothers on 15 February 2026 at the Centre for Diocesan Laity Council Lecture Hall, Mannar.

In line with the 2nd Anniversary of the Officer Commanding Troops Mullaitivu, the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) organised a blood donation programme at the camp premises on 10 February 2026.
