In commemoration of fallen war heroes, the troops of the 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (1 SLRC) conducted a rice donation programme for civilians in Pallekelle on 10 June 2025 at the 1 SLRC premises.
During the programme, 2,600 kg of rice were distributed among 1,075 civilians. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
