11 Infantry Division Distributes Musical Instruments to School Band

On the request of the Principal of Kulugammana Premarathna Maha Vidyalaya, musical instruments were distributed to the school’s Eastern Music Band on 26 December 2024 at the Headquarters of the 11 Infantry Division. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General K.A.U. Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division.

12 GW Conducts a Donation Programme

Under the guidance of Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, Commander, Security Forces (East), and under the supervision of the Commander of the 231 Infantry Brigade, troops of the 12th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch (GW) distributed gift packs containing stationery items to school children on 23 December 2024.

18 VIR Conducts a School Item Donation Programme

Under the guidance of Major General H.C.L Galappatthi RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division and leadership of the Commanding Officer of 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR), the troops of 18 VIR organized a school accessories donation programme for the students of Suduwella Parakrama School on 17 December 2024 at Maha Wapi Viharaya in Ampara.

Christmas Spirit Shared at Methodist Church, Akkaraipattu

Under the guidance of Major General H.C.L Galappatthi RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division and the supervision of Officiating Brigade Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, a community programme to mark the dawn of Christmas 2024 was held on 20 December 2024 at the Methodist Church, Akkaraipattu.

Dry Ration Donation Programme for Low-Income Families in Kannagipuraam, Akkareipaththu

Under the guidance of Major General H.C.L. Galappatthi RSP USP, Commander of 24 Infantry Division and the supervision of the Officiating Brigade Commander of 241 Infantry Brigade, the troops of 11 Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard organized a dry ration donation programme at the Akkaraipattu Kannagipuram School on 21 December 2024, benefiting 25 low-income families living in the Kannagipuram area.

Dry Ration Packs Distribution Programme Conducts by 10 (V) VIR Troops

The 10th (V) Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (10 (V) VIR) conducted a dry ration packs distribution programme on 23 December to support five selected low-income families in the J/433 Mulliyan GN Division.

Foot Bicycles and Dry Ration Packs Distributed to Jaffna Students and Women

The 513 Infantry Brigade conducted a distribution programme for low-income families in Jaffna, providing 50 bicycles for students, 25 dry ration packs for elderly women, and 25 nutritious packs for pregnant mothers. This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Brigadier E.M.L.P Ekanayake USP, Commander of the 513 Infantry Brigade.

The 231 Infantry Brigade conducted a programme to distribute school stationery to 233 students at Vijaya Parackrama Kanishta Vidyalaya, Kalukale, Dimbulagala, on 21 December 2024.

57 Infantry Division Distributes Essential School Supplies

A programme to distribute school supplies worth Rs. 1,80,000.00 was held on 18 December 2024 for 42 students from Karuwalagaswewa Sri Wimaladharma Preschool and 15 students from Thabbowa Sri Vijaya Preschool in Puttalam District.
