Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General K.M.P.S.B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, and on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, troops of the 211 Infantry Brigade, 9 Gajaba Regiment and 5(V) Gajaba Regiment, voluntarily donated blood during a campaign held at Padaviya Hospital on 07 June 2025. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Royal College, Colombo, as part of their 46th Annual Blood Donation Campaign.

A "Clean Sri Lanka" programme was conducted on 08 June 2025 at the Sri Sailabimbaramaya Temple in Irattaperiyakulama under the guidance of Major General W.W.M.P.W.W.B.R Palamakumbura RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier P. M De Silva RSP USP, Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade.

In a commendable display of civic responsibility and humanitarian service, the 12th Battalion of the Sri Lanka National Guard successfully organized a blood donation programme on 09 June 2025.

Troops of the 6th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch (6 GW) distributed 150 coconut plants to needy families in Sugandipuram, Mullaitivu, during an event held at the Sugandipuram Grama Niladhari Office on 12 June 2025, under the guidance of the Commander of the 593 Infantry Brigade.

The troops of 1 Corps conducted a school items donation programme for the children of low-income families on 11 June 2025 at Thiruwallur Vidyalaya, Kilinochchi. Major General W.M.P.M Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, Commander of 1 Corps, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The troops of the 1st Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (1 SLSR) successfully completed the construction of a new house for a needy family in Loluwagoda on 10 June 2025. Major General P.K.W.W.M.J.S.B.W Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 58 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest and handed over the keys of the house to the family.

A newly constructed house was vested in a deserving resident of Kaluagagala, Hanwella, on 11 June 2025. The construction was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Mr S.A. Ishan Perera, while troops of the 1st Reconnonaisance Regiment of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps provided workforce assistance for the project.

Troops of the 18th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) swiftly responded to a sudden wildfire that erupted in Kooragala area on 10 June 2025. The troops assisted in containing the blaze and preventing its spread to nearby areas.

Troops of the 11th Battalion Gemunu Watch and the Regimental Centre Gemunu Watch successfully rescued five individuals who had fallen down a steep slope near Baker’s Bend along Nonperiyal Road in Belihuloya on 10 June 2025.

The 9th Sri Lanka National Guard (9 SLNG), in collaboration with the Blood Bank, Kurunegala Teaching Hospital, organised a blood donation campaign at the Battalion Headquarters in Heraliyawala on 08 June 2025.
