Sri Lankan Army troops serving in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) conducted a special training session for Indonesian peacekeepers on 28 August 2024.

UNCIMIC Number 05 Successfully Concludes at IPSOTSL

The United Nations Civil-Military Coordination Officers' Course (UNCIMIC) Number 05 concluded at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) on 19 July 2024. The course conducted from 8 to 19 July with the participation of 25 student Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, 2 from the Sri Lanka Navy, and 6 foreign Student Officers from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Vietnam.

14th contingent of SLFPC Returns Home after Successful UNIFIL Mission

The 14th contingent of the Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) returned to the island on 02 March 2024, after completing their service in UNIFIL. The contingent, commanded by Colonel D.P.I.T Kaluaggala, consisted of 10 Officers and 115 Other Ranks. They departed for Lebanon on 02 March 2023.
