The first leg of the Palmyra Challenge Trophy Cricket Encounter between Jaffna Geniuses Vs Kilinochchi Geniuses took place at the Central College Ground in Kilinochchi on 23 June 2024. This event was organized to mark the 28th anniversary of Headquarters, Security Forces (Jaffna) together with the District Secretary of Jaffna and the District Secretary of Kilinochchi. The aim of the event was to promote a sense of comradeship within the community.

The 48th National Karate Tournament was conducted from 6 to 9 June 2024 at the Provincial Sport Complex in Kotavila, Matara.
