    Final touches to open the first-ever biggest Army-improvised COVID-19 Hospital in Seeduwa, equipped with all vital health facilities, consquent upon the generosity, extended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brandix Group, Mr Ashroff Omar are now in progress with the express objective of giving the best emergency healthcare to affected Sri Lankans free of charge, according to General Shavendra Silva, Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army.

    The Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment (SLA), one of the most prestigious and admired regiments in the Army on Thursday (22) commemorated its 133th anniversary (Regimental Day) with a series of events at its SLA Regimental Headquarters in Panagoda.
