The Sri Lanka Army players excelled at the Sepaktakraw Hoop and Solo Tournament 2024, organized by the Sri Lanka Sepaktakraw Federation on 05 May 2024 at the Sports Ministry Indoor Stadium.
Both Men's and Women's 'A' Teams secured the Championship title in the Hoop competition. Further, the Women's 'B' Team emerged as Hoop event runners-up, while the Men's 'B' Team clinched third place. Lance Corporal S. Pathirana of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps triumphed in the Solo Ball Competition, while Corporal W.D Soyza of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps secured second place in the Men's Solo Ball event.
The tournament, held under the guidance and supervision of Sepaktakraw Committee Chairman Brigadier K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP IG, witnessed a skillful display by all participants.
