Staff Sergeant S.A. Darshana of Sri Lanka Artillery achieved first place in the 2nd Belt & Road Athletic Invitation Meet, 400m running event, with a time of 45.48 seconds in China 2024.
His outstanding performance has elevated him to the 51st position on the Road to Paris Ranking, where 48 athletes will qualify to participate in the Olympics. The 2nd Belt & Road Athletic Invitation Meet commenced on 25 May 2024 and will culminate on 30 May 2024.
