The finals of the Inter Battalion Netball Championship 2024 took place at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), Borella, on 30 May 2024. Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division and Colonel Commandant of SLAWC, along with Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, Chairperson of the SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Four teams competed for the championship, featuring 1 SLAWC, 7 SLAWC, 2(V) SLAWC, and 3(V) SLAWC. The grand finale saw 1 SLAWC team clinching the championship amid cheers and applause.
The Chief Guest distributed the championship trophy and merit awards. Senior Officers, Officers, and all ranks of SLAWC were present to witness the finals.
