Under the guidance of Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, a get-together was organized for civil employees stationed at the 22 Infantry Division, along with their families on 13 July 2024. The event included visits to significant sites in the Trincomalee district. A total of 21 civil servants and 16 family members participated in the program.

Under the instructions of Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of Security Force - East, a new house was constructed by the troops of 9 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) for a needy soldier residing in Dimbulana, Sinhapura, Welikanda, with sponsorship provided by Mr. Kanchana Marasinghe. The new house was vested in the beneficiary on 11 July 2024 during a brief ceremony.
