The Army Golf Committee conducted a specialised Golf training programme for Student Officers at the Army War College in Buttala from 09 to 11 July 2024. This initiative aligns with the Commander of the Army's directive to promote Golf as an Officers' Game, encouraging Officers to develop an interest in this sport.

The 10 (Volunteer) Gamunu Watch (GW) troops completed their Battalion Training Course at the Battalion Training School, Alankulam on 09 July 2024. 13 Officers and 426 Other Ranks of the 10 (V) GW participated in the two-month long course.

The Unit Coaches Course No. 49 was conducted at the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) in Diyatalawa from 10 May 2024 to 11 July 2024. The course was held under the supervision of Brigadier R.P Munipura RWP RSP, the Commandant of MSTS. 16 Officers and Other Ranks prticipated in the course.

The training day of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps took place on 03 July 2024 at the Battalion premises under the guidance of Commanding Officer, Major P.D.S.N Gunarathne. The programme included a physical training session, lecture sessions, and various recreational activities. Nearly, 50 Other Ranks participated in the programme.

Army Base Hospital - Colombo (ABH-CBO) organised an awareness programme themed "Healthy Army Healthy Nation" at the Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 10 July 2024. The programme aimed to educate troops on critical health topics including heart attack, stroke, prevention of sudden death, healthy diet and nutrition, early detection of cancers, and stress management techniques.
