The Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Switzerland in Colombo, Colonel Francois Philippe Garraux, paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Monday (12 June).
The visiting Defence Attaché was warmly welcomed by the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc on his arrival at the SFHQ-J premises.
During the cordial meeting, the Commander and Colonel Garraux François Philippe exchanged views on civil-military cooperation, social welfare projects, development assistance and the reconciliation process.
Colonel Garraux François Philippe signed the visitors’ book and left compliments before they exchanged mementos as tokens of goodwill.
Brigadier General Staff and Colonel Coordinator Civil Affairs were also associated with the arrangements.
