Army Judo Players Clinch Championship in 12th Defence Service Games

Army male and female Judo players competing in the 12th Defence Service Games' Judo Championship, held at Panagoda Army Physical Training School Indoor stadium for four days during 7-10 February won the overall championship in both men's and women's categories.

The championship tournament, competed by 84 Judo players of Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air Force Judo teams of men and women was organized by the Sri Lanka Army Judo Committee.

The Sri Lanka Air Force team secured the runner-up slot.

Major General Priyantha Weerasinghe, Chairman, Sri Lanka Judo Committee participated in the awarding ceremony on Friday (10 Feb) as the Chief Guest.
