Hon. Jeevan Thiagarajah, Governor for Northern Province paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force HQ - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Thursday (March 02) and met Major General Darshana Wijesekera, Commander, SF-MLT.
After a warm welcome, the Governor had a cordial meeting with General Officers Commanding, Senior Tri-Service Officers and Police in the area in order to receive an update on the status quo as regards security concerns, law and order, community projects, tri service nation-building projects and civil issues, if any.
Before his departure, he penned down some of his thoughts in the visitors’ book at the SFHQ-MLT.
