School accessories and readymade garments were distributed among students and civilians in Kevil and Nithyaweddy areas in the 55 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) during a brief ceremony at Kadeikadu Government Tamil Mixed School on Wednesday (18).
The donation was sponsored by Singapore-based Mr and Mrs Nilakshan Perera, following coordination of Brigadier B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, General Officer Commanding, 55 Division.
Mr and Mrs Nilakshan Perera, General Officer Commanding, 55 Division, 553 Brigade Commander, senior officers, school students, and more than 75 villagers, attended the occasion.
