  • Soldiers Extinguish Raging Manalkadu & Mamaduwa Wildfires

    More than 200 Army soldiers by Saturday (18), effectively brought a raging wildfire in Peduruthuduwani-Manalkadu areas without letting it spread further. Troops dug drains around the area where the fire was raging and simultaneously pruned trees and branches that were in contact with affected areas.
