World Cleaning Day 2025 Marked in Punani

World Cleaning Day 2025 programme was conducted on 25 September 2025 in collaboration with the 23 Infantry Division and the International Campus of Science and Technology (ICST) University, Punani.
Army troops donated around 470 reading books to the library of Kosgulana Primary School on 23 September 2025. The programme was conducted with the aim of enhancing the reading attitude of children while supporting the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ initiative through education.
The 2(V) Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment under 221 Infantry Brigade, organized a donation programme on 17 September 2025 at T/Sangamaya Primary School, Trincomalee, to provide books and essential school items to the students.
