Troops of 59 Infantry Division distributed essential maternity items to expectant mothers in Mullaitivu area at the Pandaravaniyan Conference Hall, Mullaitivu GA Office on 14 February 2026.
This charitable initiative was generously sponsored by Nature's Beauty Creations Ltd, whose contribution enabled the distribution of essential item packs to mothers in need.
In addition to the distribution programme, an awareness lecture was conducted in collaboration with the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Office, Mullaitivu. The session focused on maternal and infant nutrition, healthy lifestyle practices and proper care during pregnancy. The lecture provided valuable guidance to expectant mothers, empowering them with knowledge to ensure a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery.
