The troops of the 3rd Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC) conducted a school items donation programme and a medical camp for the students and their parents of Namal Wewa Primary School on 04 March 2026 at the school premises in Polonnaruwa.
Major General H.A.M. Premarathne ndc psc Lsc, Commander, Logistics Command (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The financial contribution for the school items, valued at Rs. 1,700,000/=, was provided by Mr. Jeewan Prasad Liyanage. In parallel, a medical camp was conducted for the parents of the students under the guidance of Dr. Nalin and his dedicated medical team. The medical camp provided consultations, basic medical check-ups and necessary medical advice.
