    Troops Repair Reservoir and Restore Monastery Amid Adverse Weather

    The Ollukkuliya Reservoir in Navaghattagama was on the verge of overflowing due to heavy rains and adverse weather conditions. Under the supervision of the Commander of the 143 Infantry Brigade, 70 troops engaged in stacking sandbags to prevent the reservoir banks from splitting.

Rajapaksha RSP and supervision of Commander of 582 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier M.L.D.S Molligoda USP psc. The troops assisted displaced people at the Sri Sudharshanaramaya temple in Madawala, Welipenna West.
