Troops of 10 SLLI Rescue Flood Affected Family in Sivapuram

Troops of the 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (10 SLLI) and Navy personnel from SLNS Buwaneka collaborated to rescue a family stranded by severe flooding in Sivapuram, Palinagar on 27 November 2024.

The rescue mission was carried out under the direction of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander Security Forces (Wanni), with the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, supervision of the Commander, 561 Infantry Brigade, and leadership of the Commanding Officer of 10 SLLI.
