5 SLNG Troops Restore Road Access Following Adverse Weather

In response to adverse weather condition, troops of the 5 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) cleared the road between Thanthirimalaya and Gajasinghepura on 28 November 2024.

Fallen trees obstructing the route were efficiently removed by the troops during this disaster relief effort, conducted under the guidance of the Commander of 213 Infantry Brigade and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 5 SLNG. The task was completed swiftly, ensuring the restoration of access and public safety.
