12 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 10 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment provided support to the affected communities in Selvapuram and Kokilai villages, Mullaitivu, on 27 and 28 November 2024 due to adverse weather conditions. Under the guidance of the Commander of 592 Infantry Brigade, the troops distributed meals and dry ration packs to 64 families in need, offering vital assistance in the face of the disaster.
