Major General A.M.C. Abeykoon RWP RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, formally assumed duties as the 20th Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 29 December 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Ambepussa.

Major General M.J.R.S Medagoda RSP USP ndc psc IG assumed duties as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division on 29 December 2025 amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the 11 Infantry Division Headquarters in Pallekele.
