An eye and medical clinic was successfully conducted at Muhaththankulam Government Tamil Medium School, Cheddikulam, on 11th January 2025, under the guidance of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander, Security Force (Wanni), and directions of the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division.
Under the guidance of Major S.A.K Gunarathna USP psc, Commanding Officer of the 12th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment (12 GR), a school equipment donation programme was held on 4th January 2025 at Hambantota Kirindagama Primary School.
Troops of the 21 Infantry Division, 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, and 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment successfully repaired a partially damaged section of the Diwulwewa Tank bund on 10th January 2025. The damage posed a significant risk to the surrounding community.
