11 Infantry Division bade farewell to their outgoing General Officer Commanding, Major General T.C.M.G.S.T. Cooray RWP RSP USP ndc psc, on Saturday, 05 December 2025, at the Division Headquarters.

Major General M.P.K.L Amarasinghe WWV RWP RSP ndc of the Special Forces Regiment assumed duties as the 21st General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division on 04 December 2025 during a ceremony held at the 12 Infantry Division Headquarters.

In response to an urgent request from the Anuradhapura Blood Bank regarding a critical shortage of blood for kidney, cancer and thalassaemia patients, the 21 Infantry Division organised an immediate mobile blood donation campaign.

Brigadier W.V.S. Botejue (Retd) RWP RSP psc passed away on 25 November 2025 after a brief illness while receiving treatment at the Army Hospital, Narahenpita. He was 76 years old at the time of his demise.

A fire erupted at a private company showroom in Vauniya on 25 November 2025, causing damage to the building and its contents. The troops of the 7th Regiment of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, with the participation of the Fire Brigade from Air Force Base Vauniya, Municipal Council, Vauniya and Vauniya Police, promptly responded to contain the blaze, which posed a risk of spreading across the premises.

A fire erupted at a factory in Panadura on 24 November 2025, causing extensive damage to the main building and adjoining storage areas. Fire brigades from the Air Force Base, Kalutara and Moratuwa, together with troops of the 1 Sri Lanka Pioneer Corps, promptly responded to contain the blaze, which posed a risk of spreading across the industrial premises.

Army personnel swiftly responded to a road accident in Thalagolla on 23 November 2025, after a tree collapsed onto a three-wheeler traveling along the Rambukkana–Mawanella road.

Major General T.N.K. Perera assumed duties as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 21 Infantry Division on 21 November 2025 at the Division Headquarters.

Rathmal Oya Bank in Welpalla damaged, submerging nearly 20 acres of paddy fields due to heavy rainfall on 20 November 2025.

A rockfall along the railway line between Ohiya and Idalgashinna on 19 November 2025 damaged a train engine and completely obstructed the track, bringing all train movements to a standstill.
