MULLAITTIVU: TROOPS conducting search and clear operations in the north of NANTHI KADAL lagoon found four Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) this afternoon (14) around 2.30 p.m..
Those four serviceable missiles were found by the troops while they had been buried by the LTTE terrorists under the soil near a tree in the area.
Further search and clear operations are continuing.
