Sri Lankan Army achievers in the recent Commonwealth Weight Lifting Championship in Penang, Malaysia were lauded and awarded cash prizes during a brief meeting at the office of Chief of Staff Major General Chrishantha de Silva at Army Headquarters on Monday (17) on the instructions of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake.

The newly constructed swimming pool of the 5 Gemunu Watch (GW) headquarters at Warunagama, Wellawaya was opened recently during a brief ceremony.
