    The newly-appointed 23 Division General Officer Commanding (GOC) Brigadier D.D.U.K Hettiarachchi recently assumed duties during a brief ceremony at the 23 Division Headquarters, Poonani of the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E). ‘Seth Pirith’ chanting of the Maha Sangha invoked blessings on the new office as he placed his signature for a formal document, signifying the acceptance of his duties.
