The newly-appointed 23 Division General Officer Commanding (GOC) Brigadier D.D.U.K Hettiarachchi recently assumed duties during a brief ceremony at the 23 Division Headquarters, Poonani of the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E).

A formal Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour greeted Brigadier Hettiarachchi upon his arrival at the 23 Division Headquarters premises in keeping with military traditions.
