Sri Lanka Army Rugby Team recorded a convincing victory against Kandy Sports Club (Kandy SC) Rugby team by securing 21 points against 13 of their rivals during the Inter Club Dialog Rugby League 2014 at Race Course Rugby Stadium, Colombo on Sunday (9).
At the first half, Kandy SC played in aggressive manner securing 13 - 0 against Army SC. However, during the second half, Army players managed to turn the tide and bagged 3 tries and brought the point table to 21, to win over the Kandy SC.
HE the President, Mahinda Rajapaksa with his spouse, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army, together with a host of other senior officers, witnessed the Rugby match.
