    Army Badminton players, competing in Mayor’s Cup, Nuwara Eliya secured first places in Open Men’s Single Event, Open Men’s Double Event, Open Mixed Double Event and Over 40 Men’s Double Event. The tournament, organized by Nuwara Eliya District Badminton Association was contested by several leading Badminton teams of different organizations. Lance Corporal K.L.M Karunathilaka emerged victorious in Open Men’s Single Event, Open Men’s Double Event and Open Mixed Double Event and carried the trophy.
