The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) held its Colours Night – 2025 ceremony on 28 May 2025 at the Grand Maitland, Colombo. The event aimed to recognise and commend the exceptional achievements of SLE sportsmen across various sports disciplines.

The 80th General Assembly and Congress of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) took place from 17 to 25 May 2025 at the Grand Maitland Hotel, Colombo. A significant highlight of the event was the conferment of honorary medals and the prestigious title of “Knight” to nine distinguished military personnel for their contributions to military sports and international cooperation.
