Troops under command to the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society, organized a a special Eye Clinic Programme on 02 October 2025, extending vital medical assistance to 364 underprivileged civilians suffering from visual impairments.
The programme provided participants with comprehensive eye check-ups, medical consultations, and expert guidance on preventive eye care.
The initiative was supervised by the 561 Infantry Brigade and supported by the troops of the 16th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
