Troops of the 11 (V) Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment extended assistance to a group of devotees carrying a sacred Shiva Linga statue from Puthukudiyiruppu, Thevipuram to the revered Thiruketheeswaram temple in Mannar during a religious procession on 12 February 2026 in Akkarayan, Kilinochchi.
Under the guidance of Major General K.T.P. De Silva RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), the troops provided refreshments and necessary support to facilitate the devotees’ journey.
