Troops of the 53 Infantry Division conducted a Shramadana campaign to clean the area around the Sigiriya monument extending towards Inamaluwa on 03 September 2024. In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, troops of the 6 Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) constructed a new house for a needy family in Meewitigammana, Urapola. This initiative was successfully completed with the support of numerous local donors, who contributed both financially and materially to the project.
