    GR Troops Offer a Lunch for Children at Saliyapura Children’s Home

    The troops of Gajaba Regiment (GR) offered a delicious lunch treat to the children at Saliyapura Children’s Home on 21 September 2024. During the event, the children were entertained by music from the calypso band. A shramadana campaign was also conducted by the troops to clean the premises of the Children’s Home prior to the treat.

    Brigadier General Staff of 1 Corps intervened to assist an elderly man critically injured in a road accident on the highway in Kilinochchi. Despite bystanders hesitating to provide aid, the Brigadier General Staff promptly rendered assistance to the man. He swiftly lifted the victim to the Kilinochchi hospital ensuring the urgent care and support.
