A sudden fire broke out at a grocery shop in Talawakelle on 09 November 2025.
Under the guidance of Security Forces (Central), supervision of 11 Infantry Division, the troops of 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, under command to 642 Infantry Brigade, promptly deployed, together with the Talawakelle Municipal Council Fire Brigade, to contain and extinguish the fire.
