Warrant Officer I H.L.N.D. Lekamge of the 2 (V) Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, secured a Silver Medal at the Asian Throwing Championships held in South Korea on 22 August 2025, with a throw of 57.53 metres.
The World Sepaktakraw Championship 2025 inconjunction with the 38th Thai King's Cup 2025 was held in Hat Yai, Thailand from 22-27 July 2025. 16 top-ranked countries in men’s and women’s categories were represented. He cleared a height of 5.18 metres during the selections for the Army Athletics Championship 2025.
