The Rowing Championship of the 13th Defence Services Games took place on 24 and 25 February 2025 at the Diyawanna Rowing Centre, organized by the Sri Lanka Army Rowing Committee.

The World Para Athletic Grand Prix sports competition, held on 12 March 2025 in New Delhi, India, brought together top para-athletes from around the globe to compete in various track and field events.

The National Athlete Selection Tournament 2025 took place at the Diyagama Stadium from 8 to 9 March 2025.

Sri Lanka Army athlete, Staff Sergeant H.G. Palitha Bandara, achieved a historic milestone by securing the gold medal in the Shot Put (F42) event at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025, held in Dubai on 11th February 2025. His outstanding performance has brought pride to the nation, marking a significant achievement in Sri Lanka’s para-athletics history.

Sri Lanka Army showcased outstanding performances at the Sunquick National Beach Volleyball Championship 2025, securing multiple titles, including the Men’s Open Championship. The tournament took place at Browns Beach Park in Negombo from 31st January to 02nd February 2025, with the participation of over 160 teams from across the island.

The 2024 National Beach Sepaktakraw Championship, organised by the Sri Lanka National Sepaktakraw Association, concluded on 19th January 2025 at Mount Lavinia Beach. The Sri Lanka Army men's and women's Sepaktakraw teams emerged victorious in both the men's and women's events.

Under the guidance and leadership of Major General Y.M.B.A Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, and directions of the 52 Infantry Division, the 521 Infantry Brigade organized a football tournament to foster goodwill, unity, and sportsmanship among the youth while strengthening bonds between the civilian and the military communities.

The Army Inter Regiment Golf Championship concluded on 15th January 2025 at the Golf Club, Nuwara Eliya. Over the course of two intense days, players from 12 different regiments and more than 100 players from the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) showcased their exceptional skills and determination.

The 13th Defence Services Weightlifting Championship concluded on 09th January 2025 at the National Weightlifting Centre, Torrington Square, Colombo 07.

The Inter-Battalion Sports Championship of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) successfully concluded at the Regimental Centre of MIR on 29 December 2024.
