The Sharp Shooters 2026 – Level II Firing Competition, organized by the Hill Country Sports Shooting Club in Kandy in collaboration with the International Practical Shooting Confederation Sri Lanka (IPSC SL), was conducted from 26 to 29 March 2026 with the participation of Tri Forces personnel and civilian shooters.
The Sri Lanka Army Triathlon Team excelled at the Ironman 70.3 Colombo, held at Port City, Colombo, on 22 February 2026, bringing honour and recognition to the Army at both national and international levels. The Ironman 70.3 event comprised a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycling segment and a 21.1 km half marathon run.

The 27th edition of the Air Force Cycling Tour 2026 concluded on 01 March 2026 at Defence Headquarters, Akuregoda, following the completion of three stages conducted over three days, commencing from Puttalam area.
62nd National Judo Championship – 2025 was held from 30 January to 01 February 2026 at the Indoor Stadium of the Department of Sports Development, Torrington.
The 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championship – 2026, organised by the Asian Athletics Association, was held from 06 to 08 February 2026 in Tianjin, China.
The Munchee National Volleyball Championship 2026 was held on 17 February 2026 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo.
The Mahameruwa Rallycross 1-2026 was conducted at Mahameruwa Racing Track, Giriulla, from 07 to 08 February 2026, with the participation of players from the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force and civil sport teams.
The National Indoor Rowing Championship - 2026 was held from 30 to 31 January 2026 at the Diyawanna Oya premises, organised by the National Rowing Association.
The National Boxing Championship 2025 was successfully held at the Horana Municipal Council Grounds from 26 to 30 January 2026.
