A Workshop on 'Counselling and Motivational Advising' for A/L students (2020), resident in Pooneryn Divisional Secretariat area was held on 06 March 2020. The event was organized by the Civil Affairs section of the 661 Brigade with coordinating efforts of 24 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops and the Central College at Pooneryn. The General Officer Commanding 66 Infantry Division, Major General M.D Wijesundara supervised the project.

Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna facilitated another visit of 31 students to Palaly Airport on Wednesday, (11) in order for them to see scenery of aircraft and flight operations. Those children from the Homes for Mentally Retarded Children in Uduvil, Chunnagam and Jaffna visited the airport along with their teachers and parents to experience the scenery of aircraft.
