The administrative inspection in the Corps of Engineer Service (CES) was carried out on Tuesday (10) in the presence of the Chief of Staff, Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage at the Regimental CES, Panagoda.
It mainly focused on functions of Regiment and its operational aspects as well as administration of all battalions to suit stipulated procedures of the Sri Lanka Army and resolution of pending issues in respective battalions of the Regiment.
On arrival, the Chief of Staff was warmly received by the Colonel Commandant CES, Brigadier R Ganegoda and accorded a drive-past Guard Turnout at the entrance to the Regimental Centre.
