Chairman of the Board Management (BoM) of Ranaviru Apparels (RVAPL) and Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army Major General Nirmal Dharmarathna, attended the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the proposed new Officers' Mess Complex at Alawwa on 5 March.
Major General Manjula Ranatunga, the Commandant - RVAPL, together with Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera, Deputy Commandant and Lieutenant Colonel Nandana Weerasekara, Factory Manager at Ranaviru Apparels, Alawwa, in the company of several other senior Officers welcomed him on arrival.
He was honoured by Ranaviru Apparel troops on arrival in a Guard Turnout in accordance with the military traditions.
Meanwhile, the DCOS of the Sri Lanka Army and Chairman visited each and every section of the factory while listing to briefings made by Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of respective sections and their role and tasks as well as functions of the production lines.
Towards the end of day‘s proceedings, the DCOS placed his signature in the Visitors’ book as a memory of his visit to the RVAPL - Alawwa.Running sports | NIKE HOMME
