  • Central Troops Attend Yoga Session


    11 Division Troops under the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) attended a Yoga session which was held to coincide with the World Yoga Day at Police Grounds, Kandy on Sunday (21). The event was organized by the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka. Mr. Sarath Ekanayake, Chief Minister for Central Province graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
  • SFHQ-E Conducts a Series of Welfare Projects


    Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) went ahead with a series of welfare projects for the well-being of civilians in the area during this month. 6 Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) of the 22 Division in the SFHQ-E organized a Shramadana campaign to clean the premises at Kumburupiddi school in Kuchchaweli area on 20 June.
     
     
  • 19th Anniversary Marked with Different Programmes


    Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) marked its 19th Anniversary with a series of programmes on the directions of Major General Nandana Udawatte, Commander, SFHQ-J. The Anniversary programme commenced with a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour presented by SFHQ-J troops to salute the SF Commander at the SFHQ-J premises on 19 June to be in line with military traditions.
     
  • Certificates Awarded to Tamil Course Attendees in 68 Division


    The certificate awarding ceremony of the Tamil Courses conducted by the 68 Division was held at the 7 Gemunu Watch (GW) auditorium on 11 June. Tamil courses were conducted with the intention of enhancing Tamil language proficiency among troops serving under the 68 Division. Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding, 68 Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
