    President Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Chief Guest graced the opening ceremony of the new primary school building and the prize-giving at Defence Services College (DSC), Malay Street, Colombo 2 this morning (25). At the entrance to the College premises, several students, clad in school uniforms, presented traditional sheaves of betel and bouquets to the Chief Guest, extending a warm welcome, together with school authorities and other distinguished guests present there.     The countdown to the year's mega talent show, "Ranaviru Real Star" Mission IV with its first 18 finalists began after opening the SMS channel for voting Wednesday (26) night at Ratmalana Sri Lanka Air Force base studio. None other than its conceptual architect, Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Defence and Urban Development, together with Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, Commander of the Army, Navy and Air Force Commanders, Spouses of Mr Rajapaksa and tri service Commanders, was witness to Wednesday's recording of the first segment for Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, the official TV channel for telecasting.
