    World Chancellors and Vice Chancellors Congress at Mumbai, India  General has recently recognized ' the strategic and iconic position'  of  Major General Milinda Peiris, Vice Chancellor, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) by presenting the 'Award for Outstanding Contribution To Education' The award was in recognition of the strategic and iconic position, occupied by Major General Milinda Peiris in the fraternity of Vice Chancellors as an agent of change in global education.
